‚It could be anywhere‘ ist eine fortlaufende, nicht abgeschlossene InstagramSerie über eine typische süddeutsche Kreisstadt, in
der ich 9 Jahre meiner Jugend verbracht habe. Dieser Ort, der eigentlich ein Vorort ist, ist weder bemerkenswert noch ist er
etwas Besonderes und ich wusste sehr früh, dass ich von dort weg in eine Großstadt ziehen wollte. Dreimal im Jahr kehre ich in
diese Stadt zurück, um meine Eltern zu besuchen. Im Juli 2014 fing ich an, die für diese Stadt repräsentativen Plätze und Motive
zu fotografieren, die Teil meiner eigenen Vergangenheit sind. Es ist der Ort meiner ersten eigenen Wohnung, meiner ersten
Liebe, und es ist der Ort, an dem ich entschieden hatte, Fotograf zu werden.
‚It could be anywhere‘ is an ongoing, unfinished Instagram series about a typical Southern German town in which I spent 9
years of my youth. This place, actually a suburb, is neither remarkable in any way nor anything special and I knew from an early
age onwards that I wanted to get away from there to a big city. Three times each year I return to this town to see my parents. In
July 2014 I started taking photos of places and motifs typical of this town, which are part of my own past. It is the place of my
first apartment, of my first love, and it is the place where I decided to become a photographer.
